The actress recreated the scene with her friend during a basketball game
One of the ways to lose a man in ten days is to ask him to get a drink during a decisive moment in a basketball game. Andy Anderson, character played by Kate Hudsonhe was the one who taught this in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003).
In the classic romantic comedy, Andy is a journalist who needs to write a step-by-step guide on how to scare away men in just over a week. To do this, she lives an empirical experience with Benjamin Barry, embodied by Matthew McConaughey.
At a certain point in the film, Andy asks Ben to get him a soda just when the New York Knicks are facing tension in their basketball game. It was this scene that the actress and singer reproduced in a video published on TikTok, taken during a match between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees.
Hudson says to a friend, just like in the film: “Can you go get a soda?” The friend responds: “No.”
“No, can you get me a soda?” he reinforces. Hudsonto which the friend reacts: “Now?”
“Yes, like, now!”, he adds Kate.
In the case of the film, Ben ends up going to get the drink and, as a result, misses important plays. Andy, on the other hand, regrets that his partner didn’t bring a diet soda.
