What are the most important cartoons of the 80s?
The Dragon’s Cave (1983 – 1985)
“Caverna do Dragão,” one of TV’s most iconic cartoons, premiered in 1983. Despite the official end of the saga in 1985, TV Globo repeated it for many years in Brazil.
The story tells of a group of teenagers who find themselves trapped in a fantasy world, where they gain superpowers and fight against the forces of evil. Over the years, many theories have emerged about them, making the fate of the group uncertain. Despite this, the animation remains alive in the memories of most viewers who watched the rerun or the original broadcast on TV.
He-Man and the Defenders of the Universe (1983 – 1985)

American animation studio Filmation produced He-Man, based on Mattel’s Master of the Universe toys. The cartoon is well remembered, especially for the main character, He-Man, and was one of the most popular in the 1980s.
Unfortunately, He-Man is not available on Amazon Prime Video from Brazil.
Super Friends (1973 – 1988)

This animated series can be understood as one of the works that preceded the one we know today from DC Comics. In it we can follow characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Super Gemini, Aquaman and other DC heroes who, after this classic series, earned a name for themselves and consecutively, years later, their own films and series with real super productions.
Unfortunately, Superfriends is not available on Amazon Prime Video from Brazil.
ThunderCats (1985 −1989)

“ThunderCats” is an animated series. It tells the story of a group of felines with a hybrid appearance of cats and humans. These felines are warriors who live on the planet Thundera. Pacific Animation Corporation, a Japanese studio, originally produced the series. Years later, the Walt Disney Company purchased it.
Scooby-Doo (1969-2015)

Known as the second American cartoon with the most episodes, second only to “The Simpsons”. Scooby-Doo is an animation that has marked generations for more than 40 years, being reproduced both on open and pay television channels and in cinemas.
Among the famous Scooby-Doo films we remember: “Scooby-Doo”, “Scooby-Doo 2 – Monsters on the Loose” and the most recent live-actions, “Scooby-Doo – The Mystery Begins” and “Scooby-Doo – E the curse of the lake” of 2010”.
