“SERVED ITS PURPOSE”
During a recent statement, Chrissy Kelleher, a spokesperson for the platform, said that interactive titles serve their purpose. She didn’t go into detail about why they’re about to be excluded, but we can imagine that variables like audience factored into the decision.
“The technology has served its purpose, but is now limiting as we focus on technology efforts in other areas”he put.
It’s worth noting that the removals come after Netflix’s former gaming chief, Mike Verdu, said the company was no longer creating interactive projects.
