Warning, this article spoils the ending of Agatha All Along on Disney+
Agatha All Along ended a week ago and we’re still thinking about it. A powerful, thrilling and exciting finale that offered many revelations: how Agatha and her son invented the song about the path of the witches and how it was realized thanks to the power of the teenager, while he was just a fraud to let it happen. Darkhold owner to steal his sabbath power.
A second season would finally be possible!
But the series ended without answering some burning questions: Where is Tom and what does he look like? And most importantly, is Wanda alive or not? The screenwriters had fun with the audience, because the heroine answers this question first “yes” then by “no” and finally by “maybe”. But Marvel’s request could give us an interesting edge.
So is the Scarlet Witch still alive?
Remember, Wanda discovered “Death” at the end of Doctor Strange 2, with the Darkhold destroyed and buried under the rubble. in the given interview termAgatha All Along showrunner Jack Schaefer revealed that Marvel has made inquiries regarding Wanda’s fate. It was necessary to use the word “gone” (which can be translated as “gone” or “disappeared”) when speaking of him:
“I don’t think Agatha knows anything about Wanda’s fate. But I think Rio knows. And I think the word ‘party’ is important, I was asked to use that term.”
What could this mean? Mainly that the House of Ideas keeps the door open for Wanda Maximoff’s possible return to the Avengers side. And as such, her interpreter Elizabeth Olsen seems more than willing if Marvel manages to do something interesting with her character.
“He’s a character I want to come back to when they find a good way to use him, and I was lucky enough to be that way when I started playing him.”
A Scarlet Witch movie is rumored to be starting, and there’s a lot to do: Agatha’s transformation into a ghost like in the comics, her son Billy’s Wiccan descent, and Tom aka Speedy’s training as Maximoff. The family can be reunited on our screens.
But that will have to wait, as it’s hard to imagine the Scarlet Witch returning (as a flower) in Avengers Doomsday, which is expected in 2025. Unless Marvel is planning a new Disney+ series about Billy and Tom after Vision. Everything is possible.
