Patrick breaks Bohr’s heart
Patrick informs Jean-Paul (Stephane Hannon) that he has been permanently offered the position of Commissioner. He doesn’t know what to do because he’s not sure he’s cut out for the role. Jean-Paul assures her that he does not see her holding such a position for the rest of her life.
A few hours later, Patrick goes to the doctor’s office to tell Babette that he is turning down the promotion. The latter tries to change his mind and explain that if he agrees, he will have more time to devote to his family. Patrick is now completely lost.
Finally, Morgan informs Jean-Paul that Patrick has decided to accept the offer, but the latter does not believe him. Suddenly, Patrick announces his decision to all his colleagues: “I agree to be the commissioner.”
Boher does not believe, he feels betrayed by his colleague, friend and father-in-law. And for good reason, he was walking right next to her on the field. He confides in Morgan: “We’re like Starsky & Hutch.” Does Patrick regret his decision?
Ophel makes a proposal to her mother
Ofel is having lunch at Mistral. Aya joins her table and takes the opportunity to check out her new creation. Ophel confides in her that the fashion show at the Pavillon des Fleurs is canceled because she no longer wants to work with Blanche Marquis: “He bullied my mom in high school.”
Aya offers Ophel to organize a parade in the Mistral: “You just have to convince Thomas (Laurent Kerussore)“. Then the young woman presents her project to the bar-restaurant owner. He tries to understand more the connection between fashion design and gastronomy: “I have clients to think about.”
Finally, after much hesitation, Thomas refuses Ophel’s request because he doesn’t want to have a problem with Vanessa (Agathe de la Boulaye). Ofel replies that she is going to talk to her mother about it.
Returning home, Ophel asks her mother to give up Mistral: “I want to have an event there, so please leave Marci’s alone.” A businessman and mother confides in her daughter: “I will give very serious thought to what you ask.”
Finally, Ophel makes a golden proposal to her mother: parade her fashion collection together. Vanessa is very upset and hugs her daughter against her.
Mexican mask found
Yolande is not in a good mood at the residence. He is worried about recent developments. In addition, one detail catches his attention: why there is still a piñata hanging in the hall.
To comfort her friend, Myrta asks Steve to take down the decorations, but Yolande refuses, saying: “Especially not before breaking it, it brings trouble from evil!”
Yolande asks Mirta and Steve to continue what they started and pay their respects to the dead. Steve agrees with Yolande, unlike Myrta, who thinks she’s exaggerating: “You broke my piñata and then I don’t want to hear death anymore.”
Camille, on the other hand, wisely leaves one of the rooms of the residence. Steve surprises him and asks what he’s doing here. Camille replies that she came to check on him and presents him with a key ring in the shape of a feathered snake. He explains to the young man: “It symbolizes hope, rebirth and the new man.”
Steve is upset by this attention, but prefers to clear things up with the young woman: he is coming out of a complicated affair with Nisma and wants to take time for a new relationship. However, he asks Camille to join him in breaking the piñata.
Meanwhile, at the residence, Morgan confides in Jules that he can’t learn that Jean-Paul has removed him from the investigation. He has a bad feeling towards his colleague: “Something is not clear with Bohr.”
For her part, Zoe will revisit The Bachelor. However, he can’t concentrate because he can’t stop thinking about Louis. Ariane confides in him: “All that adrenaline you’re looking for will always put you in a hospital bed and just thinking about it makes me want to die.”
After the discussion ends, Zoë informs her mother that Steve is offering her a little party tonight to end “El Dia de los Muertos”. Ariane agrees that the teenager is going there, but does not encourage him.
At Masalia’s residence, everyone gathers together to break the piñata. Zoe is selected. He hits the decoration with all his might, the candy falls to the ground, then… a Mexican mask. Witnessing the scene, Camille smiles again.
