Last Friday, December 22, France 2 aired the final episode of season 4 of Astrid and Raffaele, its flagship detective series. And after a little less than a year of waiting, the two heroes, played by Lola DeWeir and Sarah Mortensen, are preparing to make their return to new adventures this Friday, November 8, during an unprecedented broadcast of Season 5.

Rafael is pregnant
In the last episode of Astrid and Rafael Season 4, Nico and Rafael reached a new milestone and finally decided to start a romantic relationship after several years of being together.

His visa is about to expire and he has no choice but to leave France. How will he break the news to Astrid? And what will be the reaction? Does this mean that Kengo Saito, the character’s translator, will be leaving the series?
