The singer and musician Junior he’s back on stage! On Saturday evening, the 9th, the artist returned to the place that fans missed so much: pop shows with choreography, band, ballet, costumes, lots of lights and music to sing at the top of your lungs.
After several months of rehearsals, he debuted on the Solo Tour with a show in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo. In front of a packed audience of fans, Junior showed all his talent and professional qualities with an impeccable show.
He organized a show faithful to the artistic concept he created from the beginning of his solo career. He always highlighted his solo flight in his new professional phase and that’s what he did on the show: he took his fans with him on a solo flight. With references to parachute jumping and airplane travel, it enchanted with a very well-structured show that tells a story from start to finish, complete with moments of fun, dance and emotion.
Junior has chosen a repertoire that includes most of the songs from his solo career with songs featured on the album Soil and he also saved songs that fans loved from his duo career with Sandy, such as Screw AND Publication. Furthermore, he had an emotional moment when he paid tribute to his father, the singer Xororo.
The singer performed the song Synonymswhich is classic country music, while wearing a country jacket. Shortly after, on his show, he explained the reason for the song: to honor his father, who was his biggest supporter. For those who don’t remember, Xororó was its great promoter Our historical tourwhich marked the duo’s 30th anniversary celebration Sandy and Junior in 2019. It was during this comeback tour that Junior felt the need to launch his solo pop career. Some time later, Xororó appears again to encourage his son to start producing the solo phase. He gave his son a fragment of a song, which became the song Sou, and was the beginning of Junior’s solo career.
Excited about his debut, Junior celebrated the music and his talent on stage with his fans and put on a show. “I’m thrilled to be here with you as the Solo Tour finally debuts. How I’ve been waiting for this moment! By a crazy coincidence in life, today, November 9th, it’s been exactly 5 years since I last went on stage to do a show singing for you. It’s possible to be here and make this sound and believe what I hear just because you are there for me. I am sure that the vast majority of people who are here today have a very great meaning in my story. I’m happy to feel your love. A thousand thanks” he said on stage.
The Solo Tour will also visit the cities of São Paulo, Goiânia and Belo Horizonte until the end of 2024, and will return in 2025.
