who is he with
Cat’s Eyes features three actors familiar to TF1 viewers in the title roles. Thus, Constance Labbe (Balthazar) plays Cilia and Camille Lou plays Tamara after her notable appearance in Bazar de la Charité, I promise you or even Les Combattantes.
On the other hand, if Claire Romain’s (Alexia) face tells you anything, it’s because she played Amber Martin for several years in This Is Where It All Begins. At the same time, Elodie Fontan steps into the shoes of one of the series’ antagonists, Prudence. An integral member of Fife’s gang (Philip Lachaux), the actor switches registers and becomes a true villain for eight episodes.
In addition, Mohamed Belkhir alias MB14 plays the role of Quentin Chappuis. Known to the general public thanks to his participation in The Voice, the young man signs here for his first role on television since starring in the film Tenor alongside Michel Laroque.
But that’s not all, because Carole Bouquet is also there. Currently on display at the Maison, the actress plays the character of Helen, the motherly figure of the three sisters. Grégory Fitoussi, Gilbert Melki, Cindy Bruna and Guillaume de Tonquedec are also in the cast of the TF1 event series.
is it worth watching
We’re not going to beat around the bush! At AlloCiné, we just love it cat eyes. It must be said that this series of events has something to enjoy for the general public. With a five-star cast, fabulous sets, endless stunts and breathtaking twists, you’ll be hard-pressed not to recognize the tremendous hard work of the production teams.
Watching the episodes, it’s impossible to see how much the original manga creator, screenwriters, and everyone working in the shadows loved it and wanted to create an adaptation that was just as faithful and impactful.
Camille Lou (Tamara), Constance Labe (Silia) and Claire Romain Moreover, (Alexia) form a charming, charismatic trio of heroines, whose complicity in the city, as well as on the screen, intersects in every scene. Their development is exciting and we want to see their team win as they fight for a just cause with ingenuity and determination.
The big casting surprise remains MB14, a castaway from the music show, The Voice. If we were to wonder what kind of performance the artist would offer in the shoes of Quentin, the police officer who is ready to do anything to stop our beloved cat eyes, fear not! He is absolutely believable and his talent should amaze more than one person.
As for Carol Bouquet (Helen) and even Elodie Fontaine (Prudence), who play characters that are quite different from their usual register, but who offer truly incredible performances.
The stories are well-crafted, rhythmic and set against a magnificent Paris backdrop, it’s hard not to fall in love with this fic that definitely changes the cards for TF1’s usual programming.
Of course, we stay in the detective register, but we also discover the complex relationships between the characters, in particular the three sisters, and this is very clear, which allows it to stand out from the game.
Perhaps the eight-episode first season also helps to prepare the ground better and offer viewers a real dive into this fascinating world. We have time to see the dynamic build and understand where we are going with the perfect balance between mysteries and twists.
All in all, it’s a success and we can’t wait to find out what the rest of the series has in store because there are still so many questions. If you were hesitant to watch the series tomorrow on TF1, ask yourself no more and go!
