Will Anais take drugs?
At the Institute, Anais insists on Teyssier to prevent Milan from joining his second brigade. The school principal, who reveals himself to be perfectly aware of the relationship between them, instead thinks that pushing her out of her comfort zone is a great choice.
Worried about Anais, Vicky goes to check on her. Both understand that it will be impossible to change Teissier’s mind. Despite being apprehensive after what happened over the summer, Vicky agrees to be part of Anais’ brigade to show her support.
During the service, Milan asks Anais a lot of questions to help Leonard prepare. But the boss replies that she cannot be available to him 24/7. Milan then learns that it was Teissier who set him up the second time and that Anais doesn’t want him.
Annoyed, Milan decides to rely only on herself. When Leonard hesitates to add port while cooking the meat, Vicki overhears them and goes to help them, but is asked by another clerk. In turn, Milan decides without asking Anais’s opinion and allows Leonard to add Porto.
A little later, Anais discovers that several plates are not ready. Indeed, Milan and Leonardo fell behind. First of all, Anais notices that the meat has failed to cook and has to start over. She criticizes Milan for not asking her opinion. The latter replies that he was only following his instructions. At the same time, Teissier enters the kitchen to interrupt them, believing that it is up to Anais to fix the problem.
At the end of the day, Vicky finds Enzo at the Swamp Neighbor and tells him how the service went, which was particularly messy. Anais joins them and accuses Milan of deliberately sabotaging her service. However, Vicky defends the young man, insisting that he was really in trouble and that he did his best. He also criticizes Anais for being rude to him throughout the service.
In order to get some fresh air in a downtown cafe, Sam approaches when he sees that he has blank page syndrome, the latter offers him a bag of drugs to help him regain his energy and inspiration. Anais politely declines. But Sam leaves the bag with her and declares that she will do whatever she wants. As soon as he leaves, Anais collects her bag and puts it in her coat pocket…
Masters students lack inspiration
At the park, Rose tells Olivia about Lionel, Tom, and Quentin’s lie about the lab restaurant’s next chef raffle. When they see Lionel, they tease him about it. The latter admits that he is afraid of coming after Judas. Rose tries to reassure him, confident that he will find a good concept that is far from his predecessor. Alas, Lionel’s idea was to work around layer cakes.
Young master chefs present their concept at the workshop. But most are very similar to variations on the Judas concept. Lionel advises his comrades to be as original as possible to meet Rose’s expectations.
A little later, the students present their concept to Rose and Enzo. Following Lionel’s advice, everyone comes up with completely crazy ideas. Lionel even comes up with a concept around a wheel that the customer spins to discover a random ingredient to add to their dish.
After the meeting, Enzo and Rose admit to the Wizard leaders that they don’t understand why they went so far instead of going deep into their core ideas. Lionel admits that he thought we had to be very original. So Enzo and Rose decide to leave the reins of the restaurant-lab to Jude, while his friends really work on their concept.
Gaspard is sympathetic to Alice
During the first year’s class, Alice is disturbed by the strong smell of orange blossom that Mateo emits. In fact, the young man spilled it on the apron by mistake. Alice then asks him to go change. In the face of Matteo’s protests, Gaspard intervenes to drive home the point by proving that the smell is intolerable.
While Mateo goes to the dressing room, Alisa takes Gaspar aside. She thanks him for his intervention, but asks her to be more respectful of her comrades in the future. Gaspard explains that a member of his family also has hyperesthesia and he just wanted to help him.
A little later, while Alice goes to get the equipment, Mateo complains that he wasted no time changing. He prepares to pour the rest of the bottle into a bag of orange blossom to see if it works or if the smell really bothers him. But Gaspard stops him and takes the bottle from his preparation. Annoyed, Mateo suspects that Gaspar is in love with Alice.
At the end of the lesson, Alice congratulates Sabre’s dough. On the other hand, he is frustrated with Gaspar, which highlights his lack of toughness. As for Mateo, it’s not over. Seeing that Gaspar doesn’t react to the criticism he received about the dough, Sabry also thinks that he is attached to Alice.
A little later, Alice meets Gaspard at the commissary. The latter changed his schedule to replace Sabre, and buy oat flour – something that Alice lacked for the last baking lesson. However, the professor already had an order. Gaspard apologizes and explains that he just wants to help her because he understands her blocking. Indeed, she reveals that her brother is also on the spectrum. Clearly upset that he says she’s autistic, Alice turns on her heel.
