Actress Thati Lopes (“Exchange Diaries”) will star in a new Brazilian comedy filmed in Israel. She, the rest of the cast and crew will spend 40 days there, between November and December, filming the production.
Still without a known title, the new film by director Cris D’Amato (“Double father”) is a road movie – or tourist movie. And, at the moment, director and producer Júlio Uchôa are traveling the country in search of locations.
With about a decade of career, Thati has already made soap operas, sketches of Porta dos Fundos and, after having distinguished herself in the funny “Socorro, I became a girl!”, In 2019 she became one of the most active actresses in the national cinema, with roles in as many as six films last year alone. Her most recent release was “Dissonants”, which came out in theaters less than a month ago. All this while she takes place in the theater, in “Meu Sangue Ferve por Você”, “the poorest musical of all time”, currently on stage in Rio.
