TF1 has just announced the start of filming for its next event mini-series, simply titled Montmartre. Here the story will take place in Paris and will begin in 1899. In an official press release, Channel One reveals a very attractive first synopsis…

What is the history of “Montmartre”?

“heavenly (Alice DufourSeen in 2023 Cannes Criminal Police or even Alphonse), a Cancan dancer in a cabaret in Montmartre, desperately tries to find the brother and sister from whom he was violently separated as a child when their father was murdered in front of them. that he was able to pay Leon (Hugo Beckerstar I promise you), the inspector responsible for finding them has no choice but to dance naked.

Thus, Celeste becomes the first stripper in Paris and causes a scandal in spite of herself. From show to show, as she gains confidence, a new life opens up for her, but the demons of her past never cease to haunt her.

arsenic (Victor Meutlet, which can be changed in Master Crimes), a young automotive engineer from an upscale neighborhood, is preparing to take over the reins of his father’s factory. Promised a good match and a well-defined life, she fails to honor marriage, even though she secretly loves men.

She then takes the risk of confronting her father and suddenly breaks off the engagement, not knowing that in doing so she discovers a grave secret that shatters all her authenticity.

pink (Claire Romain, Currently in the cat’s eyes), a young washerwoman from the suburbs, very much in love, preparing to start a family with her fiancé. But his dream is short-lived when he is actually taken to a brothel where he is locked up. Rose manages to escape, but chased by pimps, she throws herself into the cellar and finds herself between life and death.

None of our three heroes know that they are related by blood. Neither of them knows yet that everything has just begun… and that their fates must be written together under the skies of Montmartre.’

Prestigious casting for “Montmartre”

In the casting, the audience will find Alice Dufour, Hugo Becker, Victor Meutlet and Claire Romain. But that’s not all, because they will be actors well known to the general public, such as Matilda Seiner, Pablo Pauli, Michael Mittelstadt, Christiana Real, Benjamin Barochet, Thibaut de Montalmber, Clement Moreau, Roxanne Tourmel, Axel Mandron, Nicolas Martinez, Francois. Vincentelli and Valerie Carcent.

Montmartre was designed by Julien Simone and Brigitte Bemol (both of whom worked on the series I promise you). The eight 52-minute episodes that will make up Season 1 will be directed by Louis Choquette (who directed Philharmonie for France 2 in 2019) for broadcast expected next year on TF1.
