The master of action movies like Charlie’s Angels and romantic comedies like Holiday has come out of retirement to return to the set of Netflix, which has signed him to a whopping $45 million check for two feature films.
The platform revealed the first images of one of them for the occasion: Back in Action by Seth Gordon (How to Kill Your Boss?, Night Agent).
Cameron Diaz returns to Netflix as a spy
In this explosive action film, Cameron Diaz plays Emily, a former spy who now lives with her husband Matt (Jamie Foxx). But the balance of their family life with their two children is quickly disrupted when their cover is blown.
Although they have long since retired from the CIA, Emily and Matt must return to their old identities in order to hope to save their children and hide. If the mission is dangerous, it also turns out to be very exciting and thrilling for the couple who lacked adrenaline and adventure in their everyday life.
Either way, that’s what the first trailer for Back in Action promises to be both fun and entertaining. We are already enjoying the duet of Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx.
