The thieves approached a taxi as the family was returning home
A pitbull dog saved his family from a robbery in the East Area of Sao Paulo, on the night of Friday 15th, in the neighborhood of Penha. In the images circulating on social media it is possible to see a taxi parked in front of the family’s home, preparing to get out of the car.

The driver gets out of the taxi and helps the family out of the vehicle, without realizing that three men are approaching the car and observing what is happening. While a woman who was in the vehicle gets out to open the gate of the house, it is possible to see a man and another woman being robbed by bandits.
One of the men tries to steal the taxi driver’s car and even sits in the front seat. One of the victims enters the house, picks up the dog and takes it to the place where the crime took place. When attacked by the dog, the men flee.
The case was registered in the 10th police district of Penha. According to the officers, patrols have been intensified in the area to identify the suspects.
