The first phase of the entrance exam will take place on Sunday 17th
The first stage of the entrance exam at the University of São Paulo (USP), proof of Fuvestwill take place this Sunday, the 17th. Estadao collected the main information that candidates need to know before going to the test location. Check:
Opening and closing of gates
Testing sites open their gates promptly at 12pm. They will close at 1pm, the start time of the test.
Duration of the test
In the first phase, candidates are given 5 hours to solve the questions. There is no additional time for transcribing onto the official answer sheet.
It is possible to permanently leave the application site after the gates reopen, which takes place at 4:00 pm.
What is mandatory to bring
The candidate must present an original identification document with photo. Also, ballpoint pen with blue or black ink.
What is also allowed to take
It is also permitted:
- Bottle of water
- Light foods
- Pencil or mechanical pencil
- Eraser
- Sharpener
- Transparent ruler
- Medical items authorized in advance
Mobile phone
The use of cell phones or any other type of equipment is not permitted in any area of the building.
Clocks
The watches cannot be used under any circumstances. The team will inform candidates of the time remaining until the end of the exam.
Number of questions
The first phase of the entrance exam is general knowledge, with 90 multiple choice questions, which cover the contents of the compulsory common core of high school: biology, physics, geography, history, English, mathematics, Portuguese and chemistry. Each question is worth one point.
