Muriel leaves Eliot
The atmosphere is especially tense in Muriel and Eliot. It must be said that the young man finally revealed to his partner the whole truth about his involvement in drug trafficking. While he tries to figure out how he could do such a thing, Elliot points out that he had no choice but to find the money to fund their project. He said he only did it for them and to preserve what they had built together. Only, Muriel accuses him of putting their family in danger while lying to her for weeks.
Annoyed that he is being lectured, Eliot retorts that he is in a bad position to be reprimanded for his lie. He adds that if he hadn’t slept with his colleague while in prison, they wouldn’t be here. After asking him to forgive her for this, Muriel explains that she never had feelings for Boris. Unfortunately, Elliot doesn’t believe it and loses his temper. Angry, he tells her that he only wanted to start this company with her so that she would leave L. Cosmétiques and break up with her lover.
In turn, Thierry looks at Elliott’s photo and remembers seeing him on the banks of the Lake the day the police cornered Curtis. He immediately alerts Ian and Commissioner Becker. Quickly, the police hypothesized that Elliott owed Curtis and that Eve was trying to save the day. If the commissioner concludes that the French teacher was involved in a settlement between drug dealers, Ian in turn believes that he bought the revolver for self-defense and that the situation has deteriorated. In order to leave no stone unturned, Commissioner Becker orders his teams to put pressure on Eve and Elliot.
Afterwards, Thierry goes to Elliott’s garage to ask him some questions. Since Elliot doesn’t want to talk, the policeman advises him to prepare his backpack for prison.
At the same time, Ian questions Eva in Claudine’s presence. The French teacher then reiterates that the €15,000 he withdrew, as well as the consumer credit he took out, was money intended for Elliott so he could start his business. After withdrawing money the day before the meeting with Curtis, the police officer fears that he may have bought a gun. Therefore, he advises him to tell the truth. To Claudine, this is just a vague guess, which is why she advises her client not to be impressed.
At the end of the day, Elliot returns home to find that Muriel has packed his things for him. When he asks what’s going on, the young woman replies that she’s ending their affair, then threatens to call the police if he doesn’t leave immediately…
Achille confronts Hugo
Hugo is worried that he hasn’t heard from Achilles for several days. In fact, the teenager did not come to the basketball court the other day and does not answer his calls.
In high school, Achilles confides in Charlotte that he searched his mother’s computer and that it was Hugo who discovered that his father was a florist. Without him, Christophe would never have been found a suspect by the police and probably would not have killed himself. Therefore, Achille feels betrayed and is terribly angry with the doctor and his mother for hiding the truth from him.
Later, Tom takes the opportunity to meet Charlotte in the school hallways and talk to her about Achilles. Although he is very happy that the two are in a relationship, the young man realizes that it is not good for him to stir up the story of Christophe. However, Charlotte believes that Achille is old enough to make her own decisions before adding that what they do is none of her business.
At the end of the day, Hugo waits for Achilles at the end of the school. Since the teenager does not know this, he tries to find out what is wrong. Achille then tells her that it is her fault if her father is going to be arrested. Uncomfortable, Hugo tells her that he had no choice and that he was just doing his job. Although he regrets not telling her the truth sooner, Hugo claims that he only did it to protect her. However, Achilles does not want to hear anything. She screams that it’s her fault her father killed himself before explaining that she never wants to see him again.
At worst, Hugo finds Sabine and tells her what happened. He said he was right to keep the Achilles and he’s confident things will work out in the end. When he suggests warning Cecile, Hugo hesitates because he doesn’t want to make things worse with the teenager.
Not far from there, Cecile is about to eat with her son when she receives a message from Florentine. While he hides to read it, Achilles says he realized he met someone. Although Cecil pretends that this is not the case, the young man refuses to believe him and sends him away.
