The Inter athlete made a nice individual play, passing two markers to finish in the goalkeeper’s corner, scoring a beautiful goal. At 28, Córdoba wasted an opportunity in an incredible way. The Colombian striker received a beautiful cross from James Rodríguez. The attacker arrived free in the six yard area, but got involved in the action and sent it wide.

At 34, the Ecuadorians were one less in the match, as defender Hincapié was sent off. The player tried to disarm Córdoba, who dribbled past the goalkeeper and ended up hitting the opposing attacker. Shortly afterwards, in the 37th minute, James Rodríguez took the free kick and hit the target, but the goalkeeper made sure the save was made. With another, the home team went up, but failed to open the scoring.

In the second half, Colombia returns to the same line and has a good opportunity in the first minute, with a header from Córdoba. In the 13th minute it was the turn of John Arias, a Fluminense player, to finish on goal, due to another save from the Ecuadorian goalkeeper. At the end of the match, with the teams more tired, the opportunities decrease, but the score remains the same. Ecuador managed to maintain the victory and the match ended with 24 shots for the hosts and just four for the visitors.
