AlloCiné: “This is where it all begins” Season 4 offered viewers more dramatic intrigue than before. Are you going to continue this way?

Eglantine Sofianos: We’re really trying to balance it, to have more “soap” plots, more “mystery” plots, more “cooking” and more “social” ones.

The idea of ​​Season 5 is really to succeed in balancing all of that, as well as having plots more aimed at the young, alternating with plots that are more adult-oriented.

It’s important for us to represent all of these points of view because we know that we have a fairly broad audience in terms of age. That’s the challenge of ITC: to have a lot of characters and bring them all to the fore, because they all have something interesting to say, we think, as well as conveying different emotions.

Cleo (Alice Alviez Matton) will return?

The character was hated on social networks! Because he was the antagonist, of course. (Laughs) That was our wish… As for Cleo coming back, we know at the moment that she’s gone to a mental hospital.

We’ve clearly seen in the past here that it all starts, that other characters have come back healed, like Greg’s mom, like Eugene, like Hippolyte… so it’s possible that Cleo will come back.

Louis (Fabian Wolfrom) Can it appear again in “This Is Where It All Begins”?

The question has not yet arisen with Fabian. But Claire, his mother, is still a teacher, and that’s the connection to the institute. So, of course, this is a character that could come back, as we did with Charlene, Tayse and Constance’s daughter.

While the departed characters have ties to the series, their return is super organic and pretty exciting!

After breaking up with Kelly (Axel Dodier), Lionel (Lucien Belves) will he find love again?

We hope! We don’t want to leave him alone all season. That said, we like to have moments where our characters are alone because it allows us to create new love stories. We need a single for this! (laughs)

But then, in life, there are people who remain alone for some time after a breakup. We also want the series to reflect that. Either way, we’re taking the time to think about the right story for Lionel. But yes, she is experiencing a new love story.

After Axel (Thomas and Costa), will they discover a hidden member of the Armand clan again?

(laughs) There will be some blood between them, stress! Unfortunately, I can’t tell you more at the moment….but it will be very surprising.

Are relationship problems expected between Hortense (Ekaterine was born) and Mehdi (Marvin Pellegrino) “It all starts here”?

You’ll see, there will be a comedic plot around Mehdi that will definitely shake up his relationship with Hortense… but it will be so cute! Their relationship will also come back into play at Christmas.
