After three years of waiting, Squid Game fans are finally getting ready to discover Season 2 of the South Korean phenomenon series! The good news is that they won’t have to wait that long to see the show’s third season, as it has already been announced for next year on Netflix.

As of now, we know little about Squid Game Season 2 other than that it will be a direct sequel. Hence, we find the two surviving characters from the first season, Seong Gi-hoon (played by Lee Jung-jae) and police officer Hwang Joon-ho (Wi Ha-joon).
