Paul Mescal wants to star in Gladiator 3: ‘Massively up for it’

Despite being a great desire of Paul Mescal and director Ridley Scott, Gladiator 3 has not been officially confirmed by the studio

About a week after the premiere of Gladiator 2 (2024), sequel to the classic Gladiator (2000), Paul Mescal already talks about the desire to continue the franchise directed by Ridley Scott. The actor explained how he is “massively” in favor of acting in a possible third film.

Before the release of Gladiator 2Scott revealed, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporteras there were real plans for a sequel. “I prefer to enter the Gladiator 3. There is already an idea,” he said. Now, to Variety, Mezcal revealed interest in reprising the role of Lucius Verus Aurelius.

Ah, yes, I top it massively. I don’t think they will be [24] years – but I have no idea when that will be.
