Kia’s compact SUV gets improvements in driver assistance, as well as a new digital dashboard
Kia has officially launched the Stonic 2025with important innovations in the technological and safety fields. The model now features an expanded set of ADAS systems, which includes lane centering and lane keeping assists, frontal collision prevention with emergency braking and intelligent speed limit detection. Another new feature is the digital instrument cluster with a 4.3-inch LCD display.
Equipped with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo engine and 48V mild hybrid system (MHEV), the Stonic delivers 120PS of power and a combined torque of 20.4kgfm. The engine works in combination with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
The 2025 Kia Stonic maintains its focus on energy efficiency. Thanks to the “sailing” system, which turns off the engine in flat driving conditions, the model achieves impressive average consumption. According to Inmetro, the SUV achieves 13.7 km/l in the city and 13.8 km/l on the highway, competitive numbers in the compact SUV segment.
With balanced dimensions, the Stonic measures 4.14 meters in length, 1.76 meters in width and 1.52 meters in height, offering a comfortable interior space. The 2.58 meter wheelbase contributes to good use of the interior, while the boot has a capacity of 325 litres.
The 2025 Stonic continues to come with a generous list of standard items. Highlights include automatic digital climate control, six airbags, hill start assistant, Isofix system, reversing camera with dynamic guidance, 8-inch multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, as well as 17-inch alloy wheels.
Other elements include a multifunctional steering wheel, rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable and heated rear-view mirrors, as well as USB ports for rear passengers. Connectivity is strengthened by the on-board computer with energy flow indicator, also part of the mild hybrid system.
The suggested retail price of the 2025 Kia Stonic is R$149,990, positioned in the premium compact SUV segment. The five-year warranty includes the mild hybrid system battery.
