Fiorentina-Inter postponed due to player falling alone on the pitch

Bove is conscious and breathing without the aid of equipment

The match between Fiorentina and Inter was postponed due to the fall of midfielder Eduardo Bove on the pitch. He passed, fell onto the pitch and the players of both teams closed the space where the midfielder was and cried. The athlete, 22 years old, was taken to hospital by ambulance and is conscious.

The match was still in the first half when the player fell while tying his boots. Simone Inzaghi, Inter coach, then came to his aid and was the first to reach the Viola athlete. Then Gosens, also from Fiorentina, tried to untangle his teammate’s tongue.

An ambulance entered the pitch and the players were desperate. They gathered around Bove to prevent his collapse from being seen by the cameras or the fans. The stands remained silent during the midfielder’s fall. The match was postponed and no new date was announced.

According to the newspaper “Repubblica”, Bove was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Florence and is conscious and breathing.
