Next Wednesday finally sees the long-awaited release of Wicked, the first of a two-part adaptation of Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holtzman’s musical comedy that debuted on Broadway twenty years ago, a kind of prequel to the famous Wizard of Oz. happened before Dorothy came into this wonderful world.

The film tells about the journey of the legendary wizards of the world of Oz. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), a young woman who is misunderstood because of the unusual color of her green skin, does not even suspect the quality of her powers. Next to him is Glinda (Ariana Grande), who, as popular as she is, still doesn’t know the true nature of her heart.
