Friday 6 December in a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Cecilia manipulates the guard
At the penitentiary, Cecilia brings breakfast to her nemesis: Luna. The latter trusts her and drinks the coffee, but Cecilia tells her that she spat in it. Annoyed, Luna asks why she’s so mad at him, and in response Cecilia gives him her mouth to push her to end her life.
A few minutes later, Luna begs the jailer to see a lawyer: “I need help, Cecilia Lopez wants my life and she’s after me.” He shows the guard the knife that Cecilia gave him, and the latter tells him: “It deserves investigation, but if this knife is yours, all your little problems are nothing compared to what awaits you.”
After the discussion with Luna, the guard takes Cecilia out of sight. He shows him the knife and warns: “It doesn’t make me laugh. What if the veins were cut out?” Furthermore, he explains to her that he will have to inform the headmaster, but Cecilia gets in the way.
Against all expectations, we discover that Cecilia and the guard are a couple. She asks him to prove his love by protecting her, and he replies: “I’ll try to organize it.” Still, he advises her to leave Luna alone, and Cecilia tells him: “I’ll be done with him soon.”
Babette is leaving
Today, Babette and Patrick are Christmas shopping. While wandering the streets of Marseille, Babette receives a message saying that her application to go on a humanitarian mission has been accepted. But what she didn’t tell her husband was that it had been going on for two months in Greece.
Patrick did not know that his wife had made such a decision. Concerned, he said to her: “Aren’t you going to leave us alone for two months?”And Babette answers: “It’s not serious, it’s crazy, I won’t go.”
Back at the police station, Patrick’s morale is at an all-time low. He fears that his wife will regret not being able to fulfill this dream. Jean-Paul (Stephane Hannon) advises him to convince Babette to leave. After all, two months go by fast!
Patrick hesitates, not wanting his wife to stay for the end-of-the-year holidays. To cheer him up, Bohr asks him to open one of the boxes of the famous advent calendar, and Patrick discovers the following message: “The way of love is called sacrifice.”
Later, Patrick goes to Mistral’s medical office to ask his wife: “This humanitarian trip to Greece, are you sure that if you don’t do it, you won’t regret it?”
After a long thought, Babette answers her husband: “I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s been on my mind since this morning. My little inner voice is telling me to do it.” Babette is thrilled that her husband is supporting her at this point in her life.
Nothing goes well between Baptiste and Emma
This morning at Mistral, Thomas (Laurent Kerussore) tries to find out more about the double life his sister-in-law, Emma, is leading. Finally, the young woman is forced to tell the truth: “I didn’t really break my ankle. I lied so I could work”.
Thomas, who knows that Emma spent the previous day with a man in a luxury hotel, asks her: “Nothing else, are you sure?” But the young woman pretends that everything is going well in her life. But is it really so?
A few hours later, Gabriel, Baptiste, and Mathis returned to Mistral. Emma takes advantage of this meeting and talks privately with her companion. She admits to him that she faked her ankle injury so she could work.
angrily told him: “My life is in Marseilles and I will not move from here, I will give you everything!”. Emma, who did not expect this loud statement, answered: “Are you telling me that now that he’s flying at me?”
Tensions continue to rise and Baptiste tells Emma: “I think we’ve told each other everything” He then tells her that he wants Mathis to come and live with him. But, obviously, the young woman strongly opposes this decision, but does she really have a choice?
In turn, Thomas comforts his grandson. Indeed, the little boy is sad to see his mother and father arguing all the time. At the same time, a single mother, who went to foster her daughter in the flower pavilion, listens to the conversation. He is moved by Gabriel and Thomas’ care for the little boy.
In the evening, in Mistral, Thomas reveals the unbelievable to Gabriel: he surprised Emma with a man in a luxurious hotel. Gabriel is shocked. Thomas wants to warn their son, but Gabrielle fears it’s a bad idea.
As they leave Mistral, the couple hears a baby crying. Contrary to all expectations, this is the son of a single mother. Inside the cradle is a note that reads: “It’s Romy, take care of her, she’s your little girl.”
