After three weeks on the air, Canal+ broadcasts this Monday, December 9, the last two episodes of Iris, the extraordinary series created, written and directed by Doria Tillier (Kids Are Kings).
Over the course of six episodes, viewers were enthralled by the adventures of Iris, a woman who doesn’t think like others.
If Iris has a head like everyone else’s, her head doesn’t exactly look like everyone else’s. Not even his mouth. It must be said that Iris says what others do not.
And the list of those he pushes to the limit grows every day. But in the end, the first to suffer is Iris. And love in all this? When you don’t do anything like everyone else, you are far from clichés…
In this fiction, Doria Tillier is opposite Francois Morel, Jeanne Balibar, Pascal Arbillot, Mael Besnard, Anaide Rosam, Michel Masiero and Denis Podalides.
Quirky, original and brilliantly written, Iris won the prize for best series in the 26-minute format at the La Rochelle Festival of Fantasy.
But as the adventures of this woman like no other come to an end, viewers are sure to wonder if Iris will be eligible for a second season.
Season 2 for Iris?
At this time, Canal+ has not confirmed that Iris will return for a second season. A private channel certainly expects audience results both on-air and on its platform.
So you still have to be patient to find out the channel decision. Anyway, Doria Tillier confirmed on Allociné’s mic last September that “Everything was possible“.
