Endrick has played just 147 minutes for Real Madrid this season, sparking speculation over his short-term future. One of the possibilities mentioned would be a loan in January to gain more ground. However, this Monday, in a press conference, Carlo Ancelotti rejected this idea.
“He (Endrick) will stay here. Him and Arda Güler. I have no prejudice towards anyone, whether it’s a young 18-year-old or a 40-year-old experienced player. The important thing is that the young player needs to learn” , said Ancelotti.
Arda Güler, in turn, has been used more this season. The 19-year-old Turkish player has already spent 573 minutes on the pitch, while both have scored two goals each.
Furthermore, Ancelotti also commented on Vini Jr and Rodrygo, who are in doubt ahead of the match against Atalanta on Tuesday (10), sixth round of the Champions League phase.
“Vini and Rodrygo are the only doubts. We will decide after the last training session before the match”, concluded the Italian coach.
