Warning, this article contains spoilers for the Here It All Begins episodes. If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read!
Summer promises us that everything starts here. And while the National Pastry Championship promises to be a new scene of intrigue with a twist of a thriller, the dangers facing Greg (Mikael Mittelstadt) could lead to the end of his relationship with Elliot (Nicolas Anselmo).
Although everything was going well at the Hotel Beaumont, which hosts several high-profile teams led by Teissier, Noemi or even Cardon, a trip to the sea was enough to change everything.
Convinced that someone has been hit by Benoit DeLobel’s boat, Greg and Marius (Damas Roy) eventually find a piece of Albany’s (Frank Liberty) kitchen coat and convince them that they really killed him.
A secret the two young apprentice chefs might want to bury, but one they seem determined to unearth at any cost.
Indeed, this is where it all begins. In the following episodes, son DeLobel and his childhood friend will begin to receive threats in the form of an inspirational SMS remember last summer (“I know what you did, pay for it”) or an alleged bloodstain found on Marius’ sheets.
Realizing that it’s actually food coloring, Greg begins to suspect Albany, who has promised to make life hell for Noemi (Lucia Passaniti), who has been missing since the beginning of the week. Could he have orchestrated it all to get revenge and make Chef Matre’s team lose?
Obviously, the two friends initially decide to keep the whole story to themselves. and believe A new excerpt begins here, which was published during a preview of TF1Their anxiety and fear confuses Elliot, who, annoyed by his girlfriend and Marius, comes to the conclusion that Greg is cheating on him!
“Where are you going, don’t you have to work?”Eliot asks Naomi about two seconds in the given excerpt. “Yes Yes”– Greg answers, trying to hide his stress and the urgency of the situation. “We’re looking for Chef Matret. Haven’t you seen him?”.
A worried Elliot calls Greg to explain (“You look so fast. Greg, what’s going on here?”), and the latter then asks Marius to leave them for a moment. To which Marius allows himself to answer “Okay, but please don’t turn around.”.
When Elliot is alone with his boyfriend, searching for answers, he starts filming himself and imagining the worst. “What are you hiding from me, what have you been doing, sleeping together? I don’t know, you’re coming from the bedrooms, too tense, like you’re afraid of being caught. I. She already thinks she’s your girlfriend. Actually.”.
Greg tries to reassure Elliot by swearing that Marius is just a friend, but Elliot finds it hard to believe and convinces himself that Marius still has feelings for him.
Concerned and clearly in a hurry to find Noemi, Greg tries to make her realize that she doesn’t have time for such a discussion right now. (Elliott, we can talk about this all you want, but not here, I don’t have time.). Which doesn’t annoy Elliot, who can’t stand the behavior of his girlfriend since the beginning of the summer.
“Obviously, every time I ask you a question, it gets on my nerves. We never talk. You’re always with her.”. And while Greg repeats that the moment has not really been found, Elliott decides to make a radical decision that could upset future fans of the beloved couple. This is where it all begins.
“If you don’t have 30 seconds to spare for your boy, we’ve made it really easy Greg. We’re taking a break so you won’t be bothered”.
Do those few thunderous words at the end of this unpublished extract really mark the end of Greliot? Or the discovery of a threat against Greg, as well as a new disappearance at the Beaumont hotel, will allow Elliot to see things more clearly and understand that his lover loves him and that he would never risk their relationship by cheating. Is she with Marius?
