“Armored” features the “Rambo” star as a thief in an armored car who faces a standoff in the face of hardened guards
The film “Armor” received the worst review of star Sylvester Stallone’s career (“Rambo: The End”). When released in November in the United States, Justin Routt’s action thriller (“The Test”) earned a 0% rating from critics, according to the average rating on the site Rotten Tomatoes. Now it gets a trailer for its debut in Brazil.
In the plot, Stallone leads a group of thieves, who attack, overturn and surround an armored vehicle in search of a fortune in gold kept inside. However, the guards played by Jason Patrick (“Speed 2”) and Josh Wiggins (“Max: The Hero Dog”), father and son in the story, resist without giving up, refusing to open the door of the vehicle, while receiving threats , shots and fire. Trapped inside the armored vehicle, they try to find a way out of the impasse and ensure their survival.
Stallone reportedly shot his entire role in a single working day, and is noted to be very economical in production, focusing most of his “action” scenes on conversations between people separated by metal armor, amidst intermittent explosions and gunfire.
The national launch is scheduled for February 6.
