In an interview with Vanity Fair, Amy Adams recalled filming Catch Me If You Can and when she couldn’t hold back her laughter in a beautiful scene involving her character Brenda Strong and the protagonist Frank, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

“There’s a beautiful moment. He went out the window… we’re making plans. There’s lace, and it’s beautifully lit. And I have such a visceral memory of it. And then the dollar bills kept hitting the Leo’s face, like in the middle of the face”says the actress about behind the scenes. “Of course that’s when I decided this was the funniest thing. And I burst out laughing on set with Steven Spielberg.”.

I’m delaying production because I can’t get my stuff together. Because every time a dollar bill hits him in the face, I think: enough. I just… I don’t know why. Just see him hit. This is my only regret, although it’s not that serious. But I had to compose myself. I think he got to the point where he saw the humor in it, and I think that’s what hit home, but he became super focused, which I then thought was even funnier.
