Christopher Atkins he marked an era in cinema by starring in the film The Blue Lagoon (1980) alongside Brooke Shields. On Sunday 15th, Domingo Record aired a current interview with the 63-year-old actor, who appears with a naturally different appearance compared to the peak of his Hollywood career.
When asked if he had already fallen in love with Brooke Shields, 59, he recalled that she was 14 at the time of filming, a similar age to him. “She was an extraordinary woman. She still is. For the director it was very important that we have this connection, because it was vital for the film, for the role and, at the same time, it had to happen.”
