The survey indicates that 76.5% of accesses occur from mobile phones
The new edition of the “Report on E-commerce Sectors in Brazil”, produced by the Conversion company and which will be published on Wednesday 18th, indicates that the Temu had 107,241,708 visits in the month of November, and was the fifth most consulted in the ranking of the most visited shopping platforms and apps in the country, overtaking already traditional names in this market, such as OLX, Luiza magazine (Magalu), Shein, AliExpress AND iFood.
Temu is linked to the Chinese giant PPD Holding, created by Chinese billionaire Colin Huang, the third richest in your country. She started it operations in Brazil in June this yearlong after names that have been on the market for much longer, like their direct competitors, ShopeeShein and Aliexpress.
The data in the report refers to hits, and not to total sales or the company’s market share in the e-commerce sector in Brazil, data that is not tracked by Conversion, a search engine optimization agency, better known by the English acronym SEO. They show that, together, Brazil’s ten largest stores hold 50.2% of the entire e-commerce audience in the country.
According to the company’s calculations, Temu recorded 107,241,708 hits in November, a much higher number than that recorded in its first month of activity, in June, when it recorded 9,821,383 hits. The number reached 55,775,127 the following month, and in August, it nearly doubled to 106,259,467 visits, the largest increase this year among the ten most visited websites and applications. According to the Conversion survey, Mercado Livre leads the ranking by far, with 369,051,063 in November. Check it out below.
