In an iconic 10 years, this video game saga will have the right to a movie in 2025!

After recent video game adaptations of Super Mario Bros., Borderlands, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and The Last of Us, get ready for the cinematic versions of the games Minecraft (announced in theaters on April 2, 2025), Silent Hill (with. Return to Silent Hill by Christoph Gans, scheduled for 2025), Watch Dogs French Mathieu Tour, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (scheduled for December 3, 2025) and until dawn.

Adapted from the 2015 survival horror action-adventure video game released on PlayStation 4, this latest title is quite atypical as it feels more like an interactive movie where the player has to make choices based on what’s happening on screen.

Sony Pictures has just announced the French release datebefore dawn. Directed by David Sandberg (Into the Dark, Shazam), the film will hit theaters on April 23, 2025. In October 2024, a remastered version of the game was released on PS5 and PC, but had a more modest start, ranking fourteenth in UK sales during its release week.
