Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, December 20, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Friday December 20th at Un si grand soleil…

Sohan kisses Leonor

Catherine Laumier goes to the police station, where Ian informs her that an investigation has been launched following a complaint filed by health insurance. He declares on the spot that he has nothing to say because he knows nothing. When the policeman mentions the potential embezzlement that was covered up, Catherine reminds him that the fraud has not been proven. Moreover, the director of the center, Mr. Brind, confirmed that there were no anomalies in the reports. When he asks if she knows him well, Catherine says no. It must be said that until now the businessman had no reason to distrust him. When Ian tells her that he was arrested by the police, Catherine swears that she is the victim in the story.

During this time, the director of the Coquelicots center was arrested and taken to the police station. Although they have handled only a tenth of the center’s cases, police have already identified hundreds of bill payments and bogus medical procedures. In addition, they noticed that the vital cards of his patients never went through the doctors, but through his secretariat. If there was an error in the entry or fraud, it is accordingly attributed to his secretary. As he refuses to talk, the investigators realize that he is at great risk. The latter swears that he has nothing to do with all this.

Not far from there, Elizabeth calls Boris into her office to talk about the insurance fraud scandal. In fact, the businessman informs her that he is not sure he will be able to keep Catherine at the helm of Laumière Sante. If Boris reminds her that she is still very fragile, Elizabeth believes that she really has no choice but to preserve the image of the group. He then apologizes to her.

Later, Eliza, Commissioner Becker, and Prosecutor Picard evaluate the investigation. Since they have no tangible evidence against Catherine or Briar, the prosecutor advises them to get a confession very quickly.

At the same time, Boris confides in Muriel that Elizabeth is going to release her mother. Although he does not blame her, the young man worries about Catherine, who risks losing control. And suffice it to say, Boris doesn’t know what to do to help her. To take his mind off it, Muriel invites him out for a drink, but Boris refuses to take care of his mother. Muriel then takes him by the hand and tries to comfort him.

At the end of the day, Leonor and Sohan return from a night out together and seem especially complacent. After getting closer, Sohan kisses Leonore, who pushes him away.

Maeva meets Elena

Maeva and Tom meet on the terrace of Helen’s cafe. After congratulating them on the strength of their love, Helen made them realize that it is this strength that will allow them to face this event that will change their lives. When Maeva points out that they’ve made the decision to have an abortion, Tom explains that it’s not that obvious to him. Although he respects her choice, the young man wants to talk about the consequences of abortion. Helen intervenes, but Maeva cuts her off. Indeed, the latter realized that Helen was against abortion and asked her to keep the moral lessons to herself, then left.

Maeva then goes to the gallery and bursts into tears in Alix’s arms. Once he calms down, the young woman tells him the whole story. When she learns that it’s Elena trying to change her mind about her pregnancy, Alix sees red and calls her former partner. After telling her what she thinks of her new job, Alix tells her to leave Tom and Maeve alone or she’ll have to deal with him.
