On Wednesday (18), CEEE Equatorial carried out a Christmas action with 30 families affected by the May floods in the community of Bairro São João, in Porto Alegre. The distributor’s 13 volunteer employees delivered 30 refrigerators, 30 efficient showers and 150 LED light bulbs. According to CEEE Equatorial Energy Efficiency Program Operations Analyst Jonatan Silva, the initiative aims to benefit families with items that help save on electricity bills.
The company’s solidarity Christmas is part of the highly relevant program approved by the National Electricity Agency (Aneel) and also included the distribution of food baskets and toys donated by employees, as well as sweets for children.
