There’s nothing better for Christmas than a good family comedy, which is also a real hit in the US and a classic holiday watch: Super Christmas. Little known to us, this film by Tim Allen is available on the Disney+ platform.
The story is about Scott Calvin (Allen), who works at a toy manufacturing firm, a bit full and too engrossed in his work. When he accidentally knocks Santa off the roof of his house, he is forced against his will to act as a gift deliverer.

Super Christmas has all the ingredients of a Christmas movie with a neglectful father too busy with his job, a fading Christmas spirit, a kid who still believes in it, and a family that needs to be reconciled. All’s well that ends well, and if everyone likes the movie, there are two sequels, Hyper Christmas and Mega Frosty Super Christmas, as well as the Super Christmas series, all available on Disney+.
What will they like?

Elves to the rescue
- Arrive at the North Pole and into Santa Claus’s kingdom, a place full of jolly elves, presents and Christmas magic.
- Father’s transformation into Santa Claus takes him away from his demanding corporate job to care a little more about his family and others.
- Elves (as played by children and teenagers) who take control of the situation in the last third of the film and free Santa Claus.
- Sometimes very childish humor (reindeer rides, fast moving scenes) combined with little Charlie’s (Eric Lloyd) emotion when it comes to protecting his father… Christmas!
What could be bothering them?

- The fate of the original Santa Claus, Scotty, who fell from the roof remained a mystery, we do not talk about it anymore. He disappeared and was never seen again.
- During the first episode, Scott is a bad father and Charlie is frustrated. He is also mean to his son’s stepfather.
- Scott is slowly physically transforming into Santa Claus, and the transformation can be a little unsettling for little ones at times.
