How did Lorena react to the news?
In her publication Lorena expresses contradictory feelings, oscillating between happiness and fear:
“I confess that I’m still a little scared, with a thousand thoughts in my head, full of doubts and insecurities. Who is Lorena Raissa?
Growing up in the heart of Nilópolis, Beija-Flor’s hometown, Lorena seemed destined for samba even before she was born.
In 2007, her mother, pregnant and attending school, went into labor immediately after a technical test in Sapucaí. Since then the blue and white field has become an extension of his home.
At the age of 7 he paraded for the first time, enchanting everyone with his unique style, a mix of samba de cabrocha and steps characteristic of his youth.
In 2022, she won the title of drum queen, succeeding Raíssa Oliveira, who held the title for 20 years.
