According to the information contained on the website of the company CEEE Equatorial Energia (Planned Shutdown), in this first week of 2025 in Porto Alegre there will be occasional power outages in several neighborhoods.
CEEE Grupo Equatorial Energia constantly makes improvements to electricity networks, with the aim of serving its customers with continuity and superior quality. To this end, it carries out scheduled maintenance on small sections of the electrical circuit, on certain roads or sections of avenues, with particular attention to improving the supply of electricity. This maintenance, called Scheduled Shutdown, does not imply the closure of an entire neighborhood. To allow people to prepare in advance, the distributor sends a letter to customers in advance, informing them of the day and time their road is scheduled to be closed for maintenance. Check the details of the scheduled stops with the routes in which the energy supply will be temporarily suspended to carry out the planned works. NOTE: In case of unfavorable weather conditions the action may be rescheduled.
