William surprises Aurore with Achilles
Dressed and refreshed, William stops by Aurore’s to pick up an almond croissant from her favorite bakery. The latter thanks him, and then declares that he must go. William offers to spend New Year’s Eve with her because he has nothing planned. Once again, Aurora refuses, explaining that she has too much work to do.
At the hospital, William tells Samuel that he had a fight with the Auror this morning. However, it is set to relaunch on New Year’s Eve. To avoid trouble, Samuel confirms to her that he saw Aurore on a dating app.
William calls his daughter to find out more. They are going to have lunch together at Spoon. William takes the opportunity to ask Manon if Aurora is seeing anyone. Manon admits that she doesn’t know anything about it, then points out that she has nothing to say on the matter because Nordin surprised her with Gloria. William then clears up the misunderstanding, relieved to realize that his ex is just looking for revenge because he thinks he’s dating Gloria.
Back at the hospital, William repeats what he knows to Samuel. He is now confident that he will be able to work things out with the Auror and is definitely going to see her on New Year’s Eve. Still, Samuel advises her to go see the Auror when she confirms she’s available.
Meanwhile, Aurora walks through the city with Achilles. He has a strange feeling that he is being followed, but to no one’s surprise. When Achilles asks to drink coffee at his place, Aurora admits that it’s too fast. So they go to the Christmas market to drink mulled wine.
Achille takes the opportunity to offer him the gloves that Avore noticed when he arrived. She admits that she is bothered by his small attention and is no longer used to being seduced in this way. Seeing the ticking of the clock, the auror explains that he has to run. Achille offers to spend the New Year with him at a restaurant, which she happily accepts.
In the evening, at the police station, Manon prepares to go to dinner with Nordin. Aurora claims that she is going to spend New Year’s Eve alone after work. Manon then reveals that Gloria is just her father’s osteopath and that she doesn’t need to pay her anything by putting her on a dating app. Aurora replies that she doesn’t make every decision based on William, then encourages her daughter to go and enjoy her evening.
On her way out, Manon calls her father and confirms that her mother is alone on New Year’s Eve. Despite Samuel’s warning, William decides to go find the Auror. But when he gets to her house, he sees her come out and find Achilles…
