The Against the Senses franchise is back with a second installment! As of 2023, the first film became the biggest hit in Prime Video history for a local, non-English original.
Available from December 27, 2024 on Prime Video, Against the Sense 2 continues the sensual romance between Noah (Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara) amid action and drama.
But their relationship takes a dramatic turn, especially as those around them (from their own family to their new acquaintances and people from their past) will do anything to keep them apart.
The two lovers no longer understand each other and cannot move forward together as they both have different projects and trajectories leading to the painful end of the relationship.

More intense training for Nicole Wallace
For this second part, Nicole Wallace elaborated on Noah’s interpretation. Against the Sense 2 focuses much more on the evolution of her character as she moves away from her relationship with Nick and asserts herself more and more as a woman. And for this, the actor worked with coach Yael Belicha.
“It was really incredible because I didn’t have it in the first movie”– Nicole Wallace told us. “I was very afraid that I wouldn’t be able to do “Noah” again, because I haven’t played for a year.
At the same time, I really wanted her to have different changes because a year passed and she went through this traumatic event with her father. However, starting a relationship at the age of 18 is already very difficult.”.
In Against the Senses 2, Noah goes to college, which means meeting new people, making friends, and also learning that there may be new enemies.
“Noah has a lot going on and it was very accurate and relevant to his development.– explains the actor. “That’s why I was so excited to do this movie, because it’s so much fun for me as an actor to be able to put all these key ingredients into a new movie.”.
This common point between “À contre-sense” and “Ni una más”.
In 2024, Nicole Wallace starred in another successful project, the series Ni una más on Netflix. This hard-hitting fiction shocked subscribers with its dark and complex plot, but delves deeply into the current issues of sexist and sexual violence and violence against women.
The Spanish actress played Alma, who leads a revolution in her high school to help her friends who are victims of sexual abuse and rape and end the silence that reigns in the institution. And to prepare her character, Nicole Wallace worked with a coach who then helped her in À contre sens 2!

“I learned that I love working with a coach before a shoot because they help me a lot and give me a lot of tools”– Nicole Wallace tells us. “You feel a lot more confident when you get on set. It’s so important to be fully prepared to facilitate and speed up the work of others and not be a problem throughout the filming process.”.
Working with a coach allowed Nicole Wallace to give Noah even more substance and psychologically get closer to his character:
“Getting to the heart of the character and digging into their past and what you want them to fight for and what their needs are in this film is a process that makes me happy.
I didn’t do that in the first movie, and it was harder to talk about Noah because I didn’t really know him. And now I feel like I’ve created it very deeply and I can talk about it better.”
