Here’s where it all starts: What’s in store for Wednesday January 1, 2025 Episode 1080 [SPOILERS]

On Wednesday, January 1, it all starts here…

Gary feels betrayed by Solal

At the institute, Ines finds Zoë, who she questions about a video that has gone viral, where we see her duplicating a dirty dance choreographed by Solal. In the comments of the video, everyone bets that they will get together. So Ines pushes her sister to admit that she likes Solal. But Zoe says they’re just friends.

Zoe then joins Solal at CDI, where Chef Armand congratulates them on the success of their New Year’s Eve, and especially for the choreography that set the dance floor on fire. The chef is also encouraging the couple to discuss more projects together and is rumored to be working on a Valentine’s Day menu.

Zoe then goes to the institute gate to find Lionel. The two set up a meeting with their father to communicate their disagreement over his decision to go to work in Biarritz and take Inez there. Lionel explains to his father that he got an interview at Angel’s Farm. He lied on his CV because Stephen has no experience. But the latter agrees to go to the interview. After meeting Angela, he finally confesses the whole truth. Touched by his story and convinced of his motivations, she agrees to take him.

Later, Zoe goes to practice in the kitchen and sits next to Gary. He immediately confronts her about Solal. Zoe apologizes for the kiss they shared last Friday before she realized Gary didn’t know. The young girl may have claimed that she is just friends with Solal, but Gary believes that she is the reason they broke up.

Outside, Mateo and Solali meet Gary by chance. The latter attacks Solal, who admits to kissing Zoe. However, he claims that their breakup has nothing to do with him because his feelings for Zoe are not reciprocated. But Gary feels betrayed. He hits. In the heat, he finds himself thrown backwards against the wall. Maddened with anger, Gary refuses to enter Solal’s room.

A little later, Solal goes to his room at the boarding house to collect some things with Mateo. He then finds Gary on the ground, completely unconscious, bleeding from the back of his neck. Solal runs towards him. While calling for help, Matteo confides that Gary is suffering from an illness that prevents him from feeling pain…

Secret Santa has been launched

At the park, Berenice joins Carla, Jim, and Malik to wish them a Happy New Year. He then tries to talk to his ex for a bit, then leaves on his own. Jimmy and Malik are confident that the couple will reconcile. To help them out, Malik suggests organizing a Secret Santa with their roommate.

In class, Suleiman confides in Jim that he took Berenice to Secret Santa. He feels uncomfortable giving her a gift and offers Jim to trade with him, knowing that the latter shot Malik. Jim accepts his proposal on the condition that Suleiman gives him the gift he will receive.

Later, Carla discovers a gift Jimmy plans to give Berenice to Secret Santa. She thinks this is a very bad idea and wants to help him find someone else. Jimmy accepts.

Quentin liked Leonard

Malik warns Leonard about the Secret Santa organization. The two boys then discuss Quentin’s costume at an ’80s New Year’s Eve party. The young man was dressed as a cowboy from the village people. Malick has no doubt: contrary to what Quentin has told him, he is convinced that the latter is gay.

At the commissary, Leonard thinks about Maya’s gift he received from Secret Santa. He asks Quentin for advice, who suggests they go to a local cafe to think things out together. There, the two boys find an idea for Maya’s gift: sportswear.

Leonard thanks Quentin for his help. The latter takes the opportunity to find out why Malik asked him if he was gay or not. A little embarrassed, Leonard explains the reason. Quentin then reveals that he is bisexual and that he likes her. He is willing to try something with her. More reasonable, Leonard prefers to stay friends because he doesn’t want to cause problems for Maya. Quentin respects her choice.
