WARNING, THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES IT ALL BEGINS Monday night on TF1! If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read!
On Monday, July 25, it all starts here…
After receiving a strange phone call, Noemi senses that something is wrong. In addition, someone keeps answering the door to his room at the Beaumont Hotel. As he prepares to send Greg and Marius to warn them of a possible exchange with Albany, his door opens again.
Despite Tacey’s threats, Salome decides to continue her affair with Swann. Early in the morning, the student joins her lover in her room to share an intimate moment. Later, he admits to him the boss’s dilemma: either cut him off, or leave the championship. But the young woman is not going to let her behavior be dictated by Emmanuel and suggests that her boyfriend keep their relationship a secret for now.
Salome then joins her brigade for morning training. Immediately, Tessier attacks her about her relationship with Swann. Then the young woman convinces him that she has put an end to their story.
Meanwhile, Greg and Marius have nothing from Noemi. It’s not his habit to be late for practice, especially without warning them. They try to call several times, but always get his answering machine. Marius is very worried about the chef. After being told about the threat, he gave them no sign of life. So they decided to go in search of him.
The couple finds the door to Noemi’s room open. If the situation immediately worries them, the pressure rises when they realize that all of the chef’s belongings are gone. Marius then becomes convinced that the author of the threat is hiding behind all this. Greg, on the other hand, tries to convince himself that he might be in a hotel somewhere. As they leave the room, they run into Elliot, who finds their behavior strange. She begins making a scene and demands an explanation from her boyfriend, whom she suspects of sleeping with Marius. However, Gregg assures him that this is not the case, but at this time he cannot explain further. So Elliot tells him that if he doesn’t have thirty seconds to give them, they better take a break.
Later, Benoit is beside himself after Noéme’s sudden departure. He explains to Greg and Marius that he received a message explaining that he is suspending the championship due to a personal imperative. By leaving it, the couple will no longer participate in the competition.
Gaitan and Tony want to take over the Table des Rivières after Solal decides to focus entirely on the institute entrance exam. For now, the duo is thinking of creating a concept of a coffee shop during the day and a bar at night. Solal is very enthusiastic. And he is sure that the owner will accept their proposal when he has a chef. But Gaytan and Tony are going to take care of it themselves. What’s more, the Listrak chef agreed to let them take the test that afternoon at school so they could join the summer internship as well. However, the couple does not have much experience and is afraid of not having the level. So Solal offers to help them by teaching them how to make a veggie burger.
A little later, Gaitan and Tony practice their burger design under Solal’s supervision. Thanks to his advice, they prepare a simple and delicious dish. However, their friend fears that Chef Listrak is more demanding than he is.
Just when they thought they’d be able to make their meal of choice, Gaitan and Tony are shocked when Olivia tells them they’ll have to make scrambled eggs with cottage cheese. The sports teacher comforts her because she was preparing her little sisters. However, from the very first steps of the recipe, Olivia is forced to repeat them.
Listrak’s chef refuses to taste their dish because he already knows it’s a failure. Unfortunately, Olivia thinks they don’t have the necessary level to integrate the internship, but encourages them to work on their side and try again next year. Gaytan and Tony do not hide their disappointment and still try to convince him. They explain to him that they don’t have time because they want to take the Table des Rivières as soon as possible. Eventually, the chef changes his mind and makes them realize that they will have to work very hard and keep a low profile.
Culinary journalist published the portrait of Theo this morning. The boss is annoyed by her article because he can’t stand that she revealed her personal life. Moreover, he still does not understand how he was able to obtain such information, because he refused to answer some of his questions. So he asks Charlene if she saw or heard anything during Susan Coste’s visit to the institute. To protect Louis, his sister makes him believe that he knows nothing.
In Paris, Celia gets a call from Theo. He wants to assure that he did not tell the journalist anything about their relationship. But his ex-girlfriend is surprisingly very understanding. In addition, he believes that after winning the Vattel Prize, he deserves as much attention. But the young leader is worried. Everything that has happened to him lately puts a lot of pressure on him, and he is afraid of disappointing those who believe in him. So Celia finds the right words to comfort him.
Later, Clotilda congratulates Theo on a very complimentary journalistic article. But the young man does not share her enthusiasm, because the newspaper did not talk about her dish. Not appreciating that his personal life was so exposed, the chef explained that it was part of the game and that great chefs played. Moreover, readers are more interested in going behind the scenes because they want to discover the personality and the story. But Theo does not share his point of view at all. He believes that a real leader is the one who sweats and toils with his crew, not the one who appears in the gossip papers.
