The first meeting of 2025 took place in hybrid mode and with the approval of new brands for the Rubro-Negro uniforms in 2025
This Tuesday (07), Flamengo held a meeting of the Deliberative Council, chaired by Ricardo Lomba, and approved the new sponsors that will come into force this year: the brands Texaco, ABC da Construção and In Drive. These partnerships will generate more than R$20 million for the club’s coffers.
In fact, the previous management, led by Rodolfo Landim, was already negotiating the contracts. However, he was unable to elect his successor. Find out below how Rubro-Negro organized the new branding on Flamengo’s kits for next season.
ABC of construction:
The shorts (the back of both legs) will be sponsored by the men’s and women’s, under-20 men’s and men’s professional basketball teams for one year. In return, Flamengo will receive R$7.5 million, R$5.5 million in cash and R$2 million.
In unity:
The men’s team’s press conference microphone and the lower back of the women’s team jersey will carry the branding for one year. The club will guarantee approximately R$7 million.
Texaco:
The number of the men’s team shirts and the “scudetto” present on the men’s and Under 20 training and warm-up shirts will have the branding for two years. Rubro-Negro will guarantee R$9 million, R$4.2 million in the first year and R$4.8 million in the second.

However, at the meeting, 404 councilors were present in the main hall of the venue and a further 160 participated online, although there were no virtual votes. For the first time, Flamengo held a hybrid vote, integrating in-person and remote formats.

However, to ensure the security and confidentiality of the deliberations, the club then banned recordings. Despite this, everything went smoothly and organized.
