A new actor for Black Panther? Marvel is reportedly looking for a replacement for T’Challa

After the death of Chadwick Boseman in August 2020, Marvel decided not to replace the actor in the Black Panther films. Thus, in the second part of the adventures of the superhero of Wakanda, T’Challa died, and it was his sister Shuria, played by actress Letitia Wright.

A new interpreter for T’Challa?

If Robert Downey Jr. — ex-Iron Man — returns to play the villain Dr. Doom, a new iteration of T’Challa could come in future films as well. According to Jeff Snyder’s report, Idea House approached the Hollywood star last year to play T’Challa, but was turned down.

Another solution would be to jump back in time to a few years after Black Panther 2 and find out that the Black Panther suit currently held by Shuri, the son of T’Challa and Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), exists.
