No official image has been revealed yet, except for the Season 2 post-credits scene. There is no doubt that the first visual will be released by the producer as soon as possible.

When will season 3 air?

Already filmed, Season 3 will air on Netflix in 2025. A filming date, which suggests an early summer airing, has been leaked but has not been officially confirmed by the platform.

Who plays in the series?

A little reminder of the characters still alive is in order. Squid Game main character Gi-hoon Seong, played by Lee Jung-jae, will apparently return for Season 3, as will masked man Hwang In-ho (Lee Byun-hoon). The latter is still pursued by his half-brother Hwang Joon-ho (Wee Ha-joon).

What do we know about the series?

Obviously, no details about the plot of Season 3 have been leaked. It doesn’t matter, as many internet users have come up with their own theories by the end of the series. For example, fans speculate that the masked man is none other than the son of the old man from the first season.

A very popular theory on social media also tries to prove that player number 246 was not killed by Kang No-eul. The latter would just hurt the father of the sick little girl seen at the beginning of season two.

The third season will be the last, that’s for sure. However, this does not mean that this will be the end of the Squid Game. Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed that he has developed several ideas for spin-offs, including spin-off series centered around the masked man and the employer.
