Fluminense continues its impeccable season in the 2025 edition of the Sao Paulo Junior Football Cup. After finishing the group stage in first place, with three victories in three matches, on Sunday evening, 1/12, in the second stage of the competition, they easily beat CRB Alagoas 3-0, goals from Julio Fidelis and Kelwin (two). The match took place at the Municipal de Lins stadium.
Fluminense thus enters the third phase, when it will face Água Santa, who eliminated Linense 2-1, again this Sunday. The match will be played this Tuesday.
Fluminense makes the game easy
Fluminense tried to show its firepower in the first minutes. In the 12th minute, Flu took the lead: Júlio Fidelis took a corner from the right, making it 1-0. Well positioned on the pitch, Fluminense manages to expand in the 30th minute. Kelwin received the ball in the box, fought with three markers and shot to score the goal.
In the second half, after Natan wasted a great opportunity at the start, in the 8th minute Fluminense launched a deadly counterattack: Kelwin entered the area from the left, unmarked, and touched goalkeeper Pablo for 3-0. And Tricolor continues to create chances, they had a goal disallowed and at least three shots ended up in the defense of goalkeeper Pablo (the best of Alagoas) while CRB just got scared.
