The police are looking for Tom
Early in the morning, Ian goes to the Lopezes and asks to see Tom. As Natalie informs him that she is not there, the policeman asks her to come in to check, telling the truth. The latter takes.
Tom, on the other hand, spends the night on Virgil’s boat because he prefers to hide to avoid prison.
At the police station, Ian informs Commissioner Becker that Tom has gone missing. A leak that looks like an admission of guilt to the police. It must be said that Tom was at the scene of the crime on the evening of Belvis’ death and had a serious motive.
Meanwhile, Maeva thanks Alix. Indeed, if the gallery owner had not taken him to see Virgil, Tom would probably have been arrested by the police. If this was clearly the only way out for Tom to stay out of trouble, Alix still reminds the young woman that the situation is risky because Virgil is on the run.
In the process, Maeve is called to the police station and assures Ellis that Tom did not kill Belvis. When the cop tries to find out where he is, Maeva forces him to assure her that she doesn’t know, before specifying that she hasn’t heard from him in a week. Of course, Ellis doesn’t believe him. He then urges her to take him to the police station to prove his innocence.
Elena will be interrogated by the police once again. Indeed, Lt. Cross wants to know what Tom told Belvis the day before he died. So the former nurse explains that the young man criticized her for wanting to ruin her relationship and get women to have abortions. When he asks if she made the threatening comments, Helen says no. He then explains that Tom is a good guy who can’t kill anyone.
At the end of the day, Tyce finds Maeva in town and tries to convince her to bring Tom to the police station. in vain
Cecile struggles to make room for Florentine in her life
After he’s back with Charlotte, Achilles’ mind wanders elsewhere, which doesn’t escape Cecil, who tries to figure out if things are going well. As the teenager confirms, Cecil informs him that she has reservations at a nice restaurant for a mother-daughter evening. Even though he already has something planned, Achilles accepts.
Arriving at school, Achilles warns Charlotte that she won’t be able to go to the movies with him because she’s spending the evening with her mother. Even if she is disappointed, Charlotte still understands.
Florent and Cecile, on the other hand, spent the afternoon in each other’s arms. Cecil confides in his girlfriend how worried he is about his son. Indeed, Cecil thinks that Achille is hiding things from her. The lawyer tries to calm her down, but Cecil reminds her that she went through a lot when her father died and she needs to focus on him. As he wonders if it’s a good idea to start a story with everything that’s going on, Florent suggests that they keep things simple by seeing each other whenever they want. Cecil thanks him.
In the evening, Cecil and Achille dine alone. An opportunity for the judge to ask the child what he or she wants to do after baccalaureate. Only, Achilles doesn’t want to talk about it all evening.
At the same time, Hugo asks Florance about her history with Cecily. If he is happy to see her again, the lawyer regrets that the judge is distancing himself because of his son. A situation that doesn’t surprise Hugo, who knows how difficult Achilles’ job can be. However, she claims that the teenager will eventually come to terms with the idea of having a new man in Cecil’s life.
