Fortaleza announces Dudu’s departure to Atletico

The right-back signs a contract until 2026 with Furacão and leaves Leão with a positive balance in terms of titles and performances.

Fortaleza announced, this Friday (17), the termination of the contract with right back Dudu. The 27-year-old player has signed with Atletico until the end of 2026 and will wear the number 2 shirt for the Paraná club.

The deal also provides that Leão will receive up to R$4.8 million if the expected goals are achieved, as Fortaleza retains 80% of the athlete’s economic rights.

During his time at Fortaleza, Dudu played 37 games, scored one goal and contributed three assists. He was also part of the winning team of the 2023 Cearense Championship and the 2024 Copa do Nordeste.
