As Romy, Nicole Kidman plays a perfect and respected businessman who has an affair – mostly sexual – with his intern (Harris Dickinson). This is the theme of the movie Babygirl, directed by Halina Raine. The actor gives one of the most intense performances in his career.
Throughout the film, the two characters engage in a sultry game based entirely on the balance of power. In one of the film’s key scenes, an intern, Samuel, orders his boss a glass of milk at a bar and orders him to drink it from afar. He does so.
The director was inspired to write this scene by his own life. While he was acting in a play in Belgium – the director is also an actor – he says he ventured into a bar when one of his co-stars, a famous and much younger Belgian actor, ordered him a glass of milk without saying a word.

“He was 15 years younger than me and I never spoke to himhe explains IndieWire. I found it amazing, bloated and sexy, so I wanted to reward him by drinking the whole glass. which i did It was cow’s milk, my stomach hurt terribly.”
Halina Raine explains that nothing happened with this actor. The man simply left the bar and the manager never saw him again. However, before writing this scene, the director contacted him to get his approval. Flattered, he readily agreed to include the moment in Babygirl.
