Lobo was created in 1983 by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen as a parody of the dark heroes that dominated comics at the time. Originally from the planet Czarnia, he exterminated its entire population as a school project, cementing his reputation for ruthlessness.

A mercenary and bounty hunter, Lobo is known for always honoring his contracts, no matter the cost. His chaotic and violent personality makes him a unique antihero, beloved by fans.

Initially conceived as a satire on dark ’90s heroes like Punisher and Wolverine, Lobo gained unexpected popularity, becoming an icon of the era, largely thanks to the astonishing art of Simon Bisley.

“Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” will be an adaptation of the “Woman of Tomorrow” comic book series, written by Tom King. The plot will explore the intergalactic journey of Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, as she tries to find herself in a hostile universe. The lead role goes to Milly Alcock, who attracted attention with her performance in “House of the Dragon,” a spin-off series from “Game of Thrones.”

Although the character Lobo is not present in the original comics, the author himself recently revealed that his initial idea was to include him in the story, but he chose to focus exclusively on Supergirl.
