Those nominated for Oscar of the 97th edition of the event will be announced by Academy this Thursday, 23. The announcement of the award nominees was postponed twice due to the fires that hit Los Angeles in recent weeks.

Therefore, the nominees will only be revealed in an online event, which will be broadcast live on the official channel of the Oscar on YouTube, starting at 10:30 am, Brasília time.

The ceremony of Oscar 2025 is scheduled to take place on March 2nd, Carnival Sunday, at the Dolby Theater, in Los Angeles, in the United States.

What is the story of I’m Still Here?

Based on the book of the same name by Marcelo Rubens Paiva, I’m Still Hereis set in Rio de Janeiro, in the early 1970s, amid the military dictatorship, and tells the story of Eunicemother of five children, who becomes involved in an endless search for the truth after her husband, Rubensbe taken away by undercover police officers and disappear.
