The film industry doesn’t just live on glamour. While on the one hand the greatest productions of the year are awarded at the Oscars and other specialized festivals, on the other hand the worst works are also remembered.
This is the case of the Golden Raspberry 2025, an annual “award” with categories for the worst in cinema. And for this edition they were “nominated” for some very important films, but which left a lot to be desired upon their arrival on the big screen.
One of the most anticipated films of last year, Joker: Delirium for two disappointed (very!). It is not surprising that the production that explores the beginning of the relationship between the characters Joker and Harley Quinn was the film with the most nominations at the Golden Raspberry Awards.
In total, there were seven questions that displeased fans and movie experts. A great coup for the duo Joaquin Phoenix, Oscar winner for best actor for his interpretation of Arthur Fleck in the first film of the saga, and Lady Gaga, Oscar winner for best original song for A star is born.
The other four films nominated for the worst of the year awards received six nominations each. I am Mrs. Teia, Megalopolis, Reagan AND Borderlands. The big winners (or big losers, really) will be announced on March 1, the day before the Oscars, as is customary.
